Twitter probably doesn’t seem like the best social media platform to schedule ahead due to its live stream nature and conversational/engaging landscape but it really can help you immensely if you plan ahead and schedule your tweets.
Now, hear me out. I know some Twitter aficionados would be totally against scheduling and they’re partly right. It’s all about balance. No one can spend 24/7 on social media (although some do try) so combining some live tweeting and interacting with scheduled tweets are definitely the way to go, especially in business.
Here are my reasons why you should consider scheduling your tweets:
LESS STRESS
Scheduling takes more thing off your already overflowing plate. Therefore, you can relax knowing you are still active on social media, even when you aren’t necessarily active.
TIME FOR CREATIVITY
Rather than knocking out tweets for the sake of it or as you remember, sitting down for an hour or so to plan out what you will tweet and when opens the door to creativity. Simply having the luxury of time allows you to craft more engaging content.
BUILD YOUR BRAND VOICE
You don’t want to be tweeting out just anything and you also don’t want spelling errors or content that isn’t on brand going out to potentially tens or maybe even hundred of thousands of people on the platform. Scheduling gives you the chance to review your posts and make sure that what you are tweeting is 100% on brand.
Some of my personal fave scheduling programs are:
